On Sunday, January 31st, 2021, GM Jorden Van Foreest became the first Dutch player in 36 years to win the Tata Steel Chess Tournament after defeating @Anish Giri in the final armageddon game!
Van Foreest became the first Dutch winner since GM Jan Timman won it, 36 years ago, in 1985.
