ChessTerra is operated by Haselton Media Group LLC. We respect the rights of creators, photographers and publishers, and we respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
The videos on ChessTerra are hosted on YouTube and play through YouTube’s embedded player. We don’t host, download or re-upload video files, and every video stays under the control of the creator who posted it. ChessTerra also publishes its own writing and tools, and members can post in the community forum and comments.

Videos
If your notice is about a video, we remove it from ChessTerra. The video itself stays on YouTube unless you also report it there, because only YouTube can take it down.
Creators who would rather not have their videos on ChessTerra don’t need a formal notice. Ask at the email address above or in the community forum and we will remove them.
Counter-notices
If material you posted was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same agent with your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address and phone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address.
Repeat infringers
Members who repeatedly post material they don’t have the right to share lose their posting privileges or their account.
