Petrosian – Nersesov, 1944 Georgian Championship, Petrov Cozio Attack

This is the first game Petrosian played in the 1944 Georgian Championship. He was 15 at the time. I didnโ€™t think Iโ€™d say this this early in the series, but he played the perfect game, with engine-like precision.

His moves were precise and his play relentless. Black made one strategic mistake and got punished severely.
