Round 2 of the Zagreb Cup. We managed to win round 1 despite me drawing without a real fight. The winner of the Cup qualifies for the finals of the Croatian Cup, so this was a very important event for my team.

We faced a stronger team, and my opponent, rated just below 2100, is a very strong player. I hadn’t done any preparation for him since I had expected a different player on board 3, but I wasn’t surprised. He played the Fantasy Caro-Kann which I (think) I’m well prepared for.
