Magnus Carlsen vs Maxim Matlakov in the Tata Steel 2018. A super instructive Sicilian Taimanov in which Carlsen wasn’t worried about creating weaknesses by doubling his pawns and thus managed to create enough imbalances which gave him winning chances.

Matlakov played well, but entered an ending which Magnus was bound to convert, and did so easily.
