Featured is a sharp Rapid chess game (15+10) between 16-year-old Gukesh D and Magnus Carlsen from the 2022 Aimchess Meltwater Champions. The opening is a French Defense, Steinitz variation, with the game immediately sharpening after Gukesh’s f5 break. Carlsen is the first to gain an advantage through the complications. However, once Gukesh applies pressure to Carlsen’s 7th rank with a rook, it’s Carlsen who buckles under pressure, allowing Gukesh to have the last laugh.
