Chess Tactics | Terminology – Beginner to Chess Master #9

This is video #9 from the “Beginner to Chess Master” playlist. Several chess tactics are defined and illustrated using chess puzzles as examples. The tactics covered are: fork, pin, skewer, deflection, discovered attack, discovered check, double check, clearance, interference, and windmill. Some tips are provided to help better recognize basic conditions that make tactical combinations more likely. As a close, a few chess puzzles are presented to show how chess tactics can work in combination with each other.
