Attacking the fianchetto structure involves thematic patterns which, when learned, will lead you to making good decisions quickly.

Once the defending bishop has been traded off, the color complex becomes extremely weak, and easily exploitable with a knight and queen attacking combo. In this game, due to time trouble, technical difficulties, and, most importantly, my lack of attacking prowess, I failed to convert an easily winning attack into a win, and ended up trading into an equal endgame.
