The conditions are never ideal, but playing a good tournament game after a sleepless night is impossible.

After a good start to the Vrsar Open, and 4 wins in the first 4 games, I managed to get food poisoning the night before round 8. I was throwing up until 7 am and was at the board at 9. It was no fun. I couldn’t see a single move ahead. I was pretty much blind.
