Yet another epic day of chess was had on day 4 of Women’s Week! In the first match, Gunay Mammadzada gave Alina Kashlinskaya a hard time with the white pieces, before strongly punishing Alina’s uncastled king in the second game. Meanwhile, Humpy Koneru and Bibisara Assaubayeva traded blows, and at the end of the day, an Armageddon game was required! Humpy was winning, but with no increment, she got mercilessly flagged.
