Watch the documentary about the Armageddon Championship Series. The chess show is back for its second stage with Asia & Oceania featuring some of the most talented chess players in the world competing under immense time pressure in a hair-raised dramatic show.

The second stage of the Armageddon Championship Series saw the chess stars Daniil Dubov (FID, Blitz rating 2802), Yangyi Yu (CHN, blitz rating 2783), Vladimir Kramnik (FID, blitz rating 2712), Nodirbek Abdusattorov (UZB, blitz rating 2672), Vidit Gujrathi (IND, blitz rating 2651), Parham Maghsoodloo (IRN, blitz rating 2647), Gukesh D (IND, blitz rating 2612), and Murali Karthikeyan (IND, blitz rating 2523).

16-year old Gukesh D, the second youngest Grandmaster in history, won the Asia & Oceania event. With this dramatic win, he secured a place in the Grand Finale in September, along with the tournament’s runner-up, Nodirbek Abdusattorov.
