Dealing with the Benko Gambit · Training Game

The Benko Gambit is one of the openings I fear playing against. It feels like black always has enough for the pawn if you take it, and a better position if you don’t. But that’s just me, I don’t like playing unclear positions which change a lot, and that’s exactly why I should play against it as often as possible.

In this game my opponent chose the line with Qa5, something I’ve faced before but have little experience in. It was equal. Until it wasn’t.
