My first ever cash prize! · Road to GM, Game 226

Here are the final tournament standings https://chess-results.com/tnr587083.aspx?lan=1&art=1&rd=9&flag=30

I prepared a tricky variation for my last round game, because a win would have meant I was first under 2000, and that I would win my first ever cash prize. I got exactly what I wanted and what I expected. My opponent didn’t handle the position precisely and I had a close to winning advantage. And then, with one passive, cowardly decision, I basically accepted a draw.
