I sacrificed a piece for an attack. I wasn’t clear who will get mated first though. Very precise play was needed from both sides.
I had a great position out of the opening. I failed to capitalize on that. I could have forced a further, probably deadly weakening of my opponent’s position. Instead, I slowly allowed him to escape by playing several imprecise, slow moves.
Then he got the initiative and I had to complicate things. I found a very interesting piece sacrifice which led to a double-edged position which I didn’t fully understand. All three results were possible.
