In 1829 German naturalist Friedrich Parrot together with prominent Armenian writer Khachatur Abovian, two Russian soldiers and two Armenian villagers made the first recorded ascent of biblical mount Ararat! Later Parrot would write a book about that ascent “Journey to Ararat”. 190 years later I make my journey taking my magnetic chess set with me! This is my journey, journey to Ararat with my chess set!
This is going to be series of videos consisting of 6 parts, the last one shot at the summit of mount Ararat! Part V was filmed in camp 2 about 4200m above the sea level! In the video I am analyzing a brilliant chess puzzle composed by Latvian chess composer Johann Sehwers!
