I will be playing one every day and try to play the theoretical variation I am recording that day.
From now on I’ll be recording training games as often as I can. I have two measurable goals in my training weeks to come. Aside from working on the endgame, strategy, and a new repertoire, I have set a goal of reaching 2300 in lichess tactics and 2100 in lichess classical.
My opponent played a strange pawn sacrifice in the opening. He did have some compensation but should have played more aggressively and precisely. Since he didn’t, I was simply a pawn up. It ended up being a somewhat tricky conversion because I got low on time, though. Still, an unsound gambit!
Today’s game was not in the Anti Grunfeld as the theory video because I couldn’t arrange a training game that fast. For tomorrow’s video I have a game arranged though! If you would like to play me in the variations to come, visit my Patreon page.
