Zen Blitz Chess #409 | Scotch Game, Malaniuk variation

I didn’t know who I was playing in this blitz chess game! Why? Because I was in Zen Mode. Zen Mode helps to remove any potential distractions by showing only the chessboard/pieces and the clocks. The handles and ratings of the players, along with other side bar information are shown only after the game is completed. This was a 4|2 time control game, where I was playing with the black pieces. The opening played was the Scotch Game, Malaniuk variation.

I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly.
