Too Strong | Cool Chess Puzzle #23 (Frédéric Lazard)

This was one deceptive bishop and pawn endgame composition, for me at least. I thought I knew the solution, but I was way off. Its solution revealed something new to me for the first time. I hope you enjoy this composition from 1935 by Frédéric Lazard as much as I did.

I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly.
