A Real “Knightmare”! Nakamura Is Fighting vs. 7 Knights

On 17 Jun 2018 during a groundbreaking man-vs-machine chess event Hikaru Nakamura played all 20 levels of Komodo available on Chess.com followed by three odds-chess games, and scored 20.5-2.5 in total. In the last game which is now known as “The Knightmare” Komodo was White and all of its pieces were replaced with knights, while Black’s knights were removed. This was a true challenge for Hikaru Nakamura but luckily that “knightmare” ended up peacefully for Nakamura and his king was saved from the mating net!
