Bot Battle: Leela Chess Zero ID:185 vs Stockfish 9

It’s a battle of the chess bots! Neural Network AI Leela Chess Zero ID:185 takes on Stockfish 9 in a group of 6 blitz games on lichess.org. What is of interest to me about this match is how exactly would Stockfish 9 punish Leela Chess Zero ID:185, in what ways is Leela Chess Zero still deficient, and what are Leela Chess Zero’s opening choices/general tendencies? What observations, if any, might we take away from Leela Chess Zero’s early encounter against the Top Chess Engine, Stockfish 9?

Leela Chess Zero ID:185 was running on GTX 1060 6GB, i5-6600K @ 3.50 GHz, 16 GB RAM, Windows 10 Pro

Stockfish 9 (210418 64-bit) was running on i7-8700K @ 4.50GHz (slightly overclocked)

I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly.
