Neural Network AI Leela Chess Zero ID 179 reaches Grandmaster strength

I play Neural Network AI Leela Chess Zero (LeelaChess) on in a 15|5 time control game. Leela Chess was at ID 179 for this game, and run on GTX 1060 6GB, i5-6600K @ 3.50 GHz, 16 GB RAM, Windows 10 Pro. After a little over 8 million self-play games, Leela Chess Zero has reached the strength of a chess Grandmaster, with an estimated FIDE rating of 2535.

I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly.
