Featured in this video is the Round 12 game of the 2018 Candidates Chess Tournament between Sergey Karjakin (white), and Fabiano Caruana (black). Tournament leader Fabiano Caruana revisits the Petroff Defense with Karjakin electing to keep queens on, unlike Caruana’s previous opponents. A same sides castled position ensues, with Karjakin attempting an exchange sacrifice in the middlegame.
