How would AlphaZero play with the bishop pair? Stockfish, as early as move 13, opts for a sacrifice that not only nets two pawns, but also fractures AlphaZero’s queenside structure. An important strategy to be mindful of when you have a material plus is that you can return it in exchange for some positional element.
