Blitz Chess #401: Sicilian Defense, Najdorf variation

This is a game from the 2017 Autumn Marathon where I was playing with the black pieces in a Sicilian Defense, Najdorf variation. How long can one forgo castling? Would positional features still play an important role in a case of opposite sides castling? The time control was 3 minutes with a 2-second increment.

I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly.
