I played a standard chess game as white with my opponent playing the Mikenas Defense. Meeting d4 with Nc6 on move one has an immediate drawback, namely the obstruction of the c-pawn. With this in mind, white will find it easier to prepare for and anticipate black’s lone break, f5. The game however takes a sharp turn, with black provoking a lengthy variation of only moves. Calculation would be king in this one!
