It’s a non-confrontational beginning out of some English Opening/Caro-Kann Defensive System. Black gives white the 2 bishops early on, and maintains a solid structure. What would come from the opening up of the center, and what would be the focal point for each side, if any? This was a 5|0 time control game, where I was playing with the white pieces.
