Blitz Chess #376: Sicilian Defense, Rossolimo

This is a blitz chess game I played as white with time control 5|0. The opening played was the Sicilian Defense, Rossolimo. When is it okay to exchange one’s bishop for knight? Ideally which of the two remaining bishops should one be more willing to part with? These are important questions one should ask in a game such as this.

I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly.
