Chess Master Relearns Chess Basics Interactively

I had a little fun playing around with a fairly new feature on lichess.org. As a Master player, the vast majority of the little tests thrown my way were quite simple of course, but nevertheless I found it interesting and on a few occasions a little challenging. The challenges were the ones that tested my calculation several moves deep. Overall, a pretty fun and interactive way to learn about the basic rules of the great game of chess with some calculation exercises incorporated.

Here is a video that covers all the rules:

I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly.
