This is a blitz chess game I played as white with time control 5|2. The opening was the Ruy Lopez, Morphy Defence, Anderssen Variation. White opts for a d3 based system in this Spanish Game, and gives up the bishop pair in exchange for a damaged black queenside pawn structure. This game, to a certain extent, is similar to a recent top-level game from the 2016 Tata Steel Chess Tournament where Wei, Yi played white versus David Navara.
