This is a blitz chess game I played as black with time control 3|2. The opening was the Queen’s Gambit Declined, Slav with 4…a6. In a position where one has a space advantage, as slight as it may be, maintaining some pieces on the board is often a good idea. Without the queens on board in this one, the structural advantage one side enjoys is more easily realized. In a position that is quickly striped of all pieces but the same colored bishops, the endgame assumes a technical approach.
