LIVE Blitz Chess Commentary #330: QGD, Slav w/ 4.e3

This is a blitz chess game I played as white with time control 5|0. The opening was the Queen’s Gambit Declined, Slav with 4. e3. We quickly arrive at a queenless middlegame position in this one with white acquiring the bishop pair and a deficient queenside pawn. The battle in the center for an appropriate pawn structure is, as one may expect, an extremely key factor in the game.
