Sicilian Defence, Najdorf w/ 6. f3 – Standard chess #14

I played a standard chess game as black with time controls set at 15 minutes with a 2 second increment. The opening played was the Sicilian Defence, Nadjorf with 6. f3. f3 is a common move when aiming for an English Attack setup where white castles queenside and each side looks to hunt down one another’s king right away. However white opts for 0-0 in this one, and black is allowed the desirable d5 central break. It’s a Sicilian, so both sides must be especially astute to tactics! After playing, I briefly review the game with the help of Stockfish 6 (64-bit).
