A full opening repertoire using 1.d4!
In the video “Mastering the Opening Series – 1.d4 Repertoire for White” by GM Roman Dzindzichashvili, we get a full repertoire for White using the 1.d4 move.
There are many different openings that can arise after this move, including the Trompowsky Attack, Slav, King’s Indian Defense, Nimzo-Indian Defense and many more. And there are many important lines that Roman shows us in the video, which White needs to know in order to combat these Black openings and have a strong game.
Throughout the video, we see different ways to play against each opening. This is a repertoire video, so we see many different options for White to play, giving us many choices of moves we can make. With each move option though, Roman explains the benefits and how the game can evolve in each line.
How does White achieve a great position in all of these lines? What moves are important to know and understand in order to end up with a good game? Watch the video to find out!
