This instructive game between Nigel Short (England) and Alexandr Fier (Brazil) is from Round 2 of the 2012 Chess Olympiad held in Istanbul. There is a whole host of chess ideas that are highlighted in just this one game. The list includes: holes, support points, discovered check, opposite sides castling, maintaining the tension, pawn breaks, offering of a queen sacrifice, and stalemate.
