In the 1959 US Championship we have the 2 time defending champion, Fischer, taking on the 1959 Junior US Champion, Ault. Dubbed as one of the matches for the up and coming chess stars for the US, Fischer put on great display of end game chess and took advantage of the mistakes by Ault.
