This video examines a very recent rapid chess game from the popular tournament “Amber 2011”. Amber is well-known because of it’s unique format – half of the tournament is Blindfold Chess, and the other half is Rapid Chess (25 min, 30 sec increment). This video discusses a Rapid game from Round 1 between Kramnik and Grischuk that ended up transposing to a Benoni. Grischuk played aggressively, and scored a well-deserved point.
