Featured is an instructive chess game between 11-year-old prodigy Faustino Oro of Argentina and Alan Pichot from round 6 of the Legends and Prodigies event in Madrid, Spain. Out of a Four Knights Game, Spanish Variation, symmetry breaks on move 8, leading to structural and minor-piece imbalances. By move 16 the game enters an opposite-colored bishops position, with play quickly sharpening in the center and queenside. On move 29 Pichot falters, and Oro fully capitalizes. In this event, Oro secured his first Grandmaster norm, with two rounds to spare! Oro turns 12 on October 14, 2025. Having already surpassed the 2500 FIDE rating requirement, if he earns just two more Grandmaster norms within the next five months, he will officially become the Youngest Chess Grandmaster in history.
