Leela’s Four Pawns Attack Shreds KomodoDragon’s Alekhine

This is an excellent chess game between Leela Chess Zero (3692) and KomodoDragon (3620) from the Premier Division of the Top Chess Engine Championship Season 28, round 18. The opening is Alekhine’s Defense Four Pawns Attack with play beginning from the position after 9…Bg4. After the first 17 moves, Leela already has many advantages with two invasive pawns, the bishop pair, and a strengthened center with gxf3. The play on both wings in the eventual opposite colored bishop endgame is especially instructive. Leela first stacks the rooks on the queenside, then closes it entirely to establish an extremely dangerous pawn on b6, and follows with a quick transfer and penetration on the kingside.
