This is a chess miniature between Leela Chess Zero (RefuteMyGambit) and Vidit Gujrathi (EvilGenius94) played on lichess on August 1st 2025. RefuteMyGambit is a bot running Lc0 that has been configured to play aggressive openings and popular gambits. The opening is a Nimzo-Indian Defense, Samisch variation where White gains a decisive advantage after just 12 moves. Watching games between Leela and a top Grandmaster can offer many insights. How does a top Grandmaster end up lost so quickly and where exactly was the mistake?
