Carissa Yip Channels Alpha Zero at Cairns Cup

Featured is an excellent game between Tan Zhongyi and Carissa Yip from the 2025 Cairns Cup. Facing the Jobava London, Yip counters with a kingside fianchetto. After 8.cxd4, her queen begins a remarkable journey that spans 14 moves and makes up nearly one third of all her moves in the game. One of those queen moves in particular would make any fan of AlphaZero proud!
