For the first time ever, everyone gets a chance to team up and play against the greatest chess player in the world, Magnus Carlsen. This is a Vote Chess match in FreeStyle Chess (Chess960) where each side has 24 hours per move. The world votes on a move, and the top choice is played against Carlsen. This is only the third “Vs The World” match ever — after Kasparov (1999) and Anand (2024). This event set a new record with 143,800 participants! Can the world finally win?

I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly.
