The Caro-Kann opening repertoire I recommend in this video is based on fresh ideas not many people are familiar with. In it you will learn variations e4 players will not be aware of, and that will give you an opening edge in most of your games.
It’s based on avoiding the main lines by entering rare, but sound variations in which ideas a are far more important than learning endless theoretical variations. The Caro-Kann is becoming one of the most popular defenses to e4, and many of the lines are well known. We will approach the king of all openings in a different way: getting white out of their comfort zone and into our territory with a series of deviations and relatively unknown ideas.
