This is what happens when you play chess tournaments in remote villages · Road to GM, Game 364

Chess isn’t the only thing you have to worry about during a tournament. Most chess tournaments are held in very remote places, often in small, poorly connected villages, and it takes a special skill to get there without any snags.

This tournament was no exception! I had to get back home the day of the final round and that greatly influenced how I approached this game.
