Featured is an instructive chess game between Andre Mendez Machado and Levon Aronian from the 45th Chess Olympiad Budapest 2024. In this round 1 game, Aronian was the favorite by over 600 points, yet after only 12 moves facing the Rossolimo Attack he found himself in a losing position. Watch how Aronian, down a minor piece, manages to still stir up trouble. Aronian’s plan of attack is to press his opponent both on the light-squares and on the clock.
