Bobby Fischer sinks Captain Hook’s Winawer

Featured is an excellent chess game between Bobby Fischer and William Hook from the 1970 Olympiad. Out of a French Defense Winawer Hook deploys his queen early with an eye on a4, the Portisch-Hook variation. Fischer’s reaction is to try to provoke a weakness on Hook’s kingside, and he then forms a rook-queen battery to pinpoint f7.
