Winning by confusing lower rated players · Road to GM, Game 334

I faced my friend and former coach FM Milan Jocev in a wild and confusing Sicilian. His strategy, to play something extremely unorthodox and seemingly nonsensical worked out perfectly. He is much stronger than me, so playing a simple to uncerstand, common position, with a pawn structure I’m comfortable with would make little sense. He chose the Sicilian, and went for a setup that makes absolutel no sense. But it worked.
