I’ve added a new defense to my repertoire. After years of playing 1…d5, I switched to Nf6 to avoid getting symmetrical positions which tend to be balanced when it comes to pawn structure.
I chose to learn a defense almost every strong player plays if allowed – the Nimzo-Indian.
