How to attack in opposite colored bishop positions ยท Training Game

Opposite colored bishops always favor the attacker. So the strategy in positions with opposite colored bishops should be to play for the squares your bishop can control, since your opponent will be defenseless unless they end up using one of their major pieces to support the color complex.

Attacking almost always pays off in those situations and having the initiative can quickly put your opponent on the back foot. This game was a great example of just how powerless a bishop can be.
