1.d4 opening I fear the most · Training Game

This 1.d4 opening is very tough to play against. Not only is it extremely hard to equalize, but the moves for white are very natural and black seems to struggle to play natural moves quickly. There’s always something wrong with black’s position and nothing can be accomplished easily.

1. d4 d5 2. c4 c6 3. Nf3 Nf6 4. Nc3 e6 { D43 Semi-Slav Defense } 5. g3 Nbd7 6. Bg2 Bd6 7. O-O O-O 8. e4 dxe4 9. Ng5 e5 10. Ngxe4 Be7 11. Nxf6+ Bxf6 12. d5 cxd5 13. Nxd5 Nc5 14. Be3 Ne6 15. Qd2 Bg5 16. Rad1 Bxe3 17. Qxe3 f6 18. c5 Nd4 19. b4 Be6 20. Rxd4 exd4 21. Qxe6+ Kh8 22. Nf4 d3 23. Bxb7 d2 24. Rd1 Re8 25. Qh3 Re1+ 26. Kg2 h6 27. Ng6+ Kh7 28. Qf5 Rxd1 29. Ne7+ Kh8 30. Be4 Rg1+ 31.
