I rarely sacrifice material. In this game, giving up material for an attack seemed to be the only option. The position was incredibly hard to figure out and I wasn’t nearly sure if it’s gonna work, but I saw no better option and ended up sacrificing an exchange and ruining my king’s shelter for two central pawns and a good bishop.
